Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Convomesh (“Convomesh”, “we”, “us”), the Australian company that operates MyShopiShop — the website at myshopishop.com, the shops hosted on it, and the MyShopiShop app. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and if you record video takes, the video content terms also apply to those.
1. Who can use MyShopiShop
You must be at least 16 years old. We ask your date of birth when you create an account and refuse accounts below that age. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission, and purchases need the involvement of someone who can legally make them. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure; tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
2. What MyShopiShop is
MyShopiShop is a social shopping platform: brands and creators run shops, and people discover products, record video takes about them, ask friends, vote, follow, and buy. Some of what you see is personalised to you by AI, using what you have shown us about your taste — that is the product working as intended, not advertising sold against you.
3. Buying things
- The merchant is the seller and the merchant of record. When you buy from a brand’s shop on MyShopiShop, your purchase contract is with that merchant. Payment is taken by the merchant through their own Stripe account. We are not the seller, we do not resell their products, and we do not take payment for them — we operate the marketplace and the checkout that connects you, and we charge the merchant a fee for it.
- Order support comes from the merchant. Anything about an order — where it is, changing or cancelling it, delivery, sizing, a return, a refund, or a faulty or missing item — goes to the merchant who sold it, because they hold the order, the stock, and the payment. We show you order tracking in the app and we will point you to the right merchant and their contact details, but we do not handle order enquiries and we cannot resolve them for you. Support for the app itself and for your account is ours — see Support.
- Your consumer rights are not negotiable. If you are in Australia, the goods you buy come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and those guarantees apply against the merchant as the seller. Nothing in these terms limits them, the equivalent rights consumer law gives you where you live, or the guarantees that apply to the marketplace service we provide ourselves.
- Prices and currency. Prices are shown in your local currency where we can; the charged amount and currency are shown before you pay. An order containing products from more than one brand is charged and shipped by each brand separately.
- Some product links lead to external retailers (including through affiliate networks). A purchase made on another site is governed by that site’s terms, and we may earn a commission on it — that never changes the price you pay.
3A. Second-hand items
Some shops sell second-hand items: people selling things they own, through their own shop. This section applies when you buy or sell one, on top of section 3.
- The seller is a person, and the seller of record. You buy from them, and you pay them through their own Stripe account. We run the listing, the checkout and the protection described here. Sellers pay no fee. Sellers are usually private individuals rather than businesses. Consumer guarantees that apply to businesses may not apply to a private sale, which is why this protection exists. Any rights you do have are not limited by these terms.
- The MyShopiShop fee. When you buy a second-hand item through MyShopiShop, you pay our fee on top of the item’s price: $1 plus 5% of the price, for each item, not counting postage. It covers the costs of providing this protection and a safe, smooth experience, and it is shown before you pay. A full refund includes it. A part refund, where you keep the item, doesn’t.
- The listing is what you are buying. Sellers must own what they sell, be allowed to sell it, and describe it honestly: what the video shows, what they say in it, and the condition and description they give. Wear or faults the listing shows or mentions are part of the item.
- Delivery. A posted item is sent by the seller within 5 days of payment, with the carrier and tracking number, which you can see. A picked-up item is handed over within 7 days. You check it at the pickup, then give the seller your pickup code. If it isn’t sent or handed over in time, the order is cancelled and you are refunded in full.
- When you are charged. Normally at checkout. If the seller hasn’t set up their payouts yet, you are charged only once they do, within 3 days; if they don’t, the order is cancelled and you are never charged. If your card can’t be charged then, you have one day to pay another way, or the order is cancelled.
- When the seller is paid. The money is held until you tap got it. It is also released 14 days after a posted item is sent if nothing is reported, or when the seller enters your pickup code.
- If something’s wrong. Report it in your order before you tap got it (posted), or before you give the code (pickup), with a photo or video where it helps. The seller has 48 hours to give their side. It is then decided by our rules and the evidence (the listing, both sides’ photos and words, and the order’s timeline), with the help of AI, and never by how upset anyone is. The outcome is one of these:
- a full refund;
- a part refund, and you keep the item;
- no refund;
- you send the item back. You pay the return postage, post it within 7 days, and add the tracking number. You are refunded in full, including the original postage, when the seller confirms it is back, or 14 days after you sent it.
- Never came. If a posted item doesn’t arrive, you are refunded in full unless the seller shows the carrier’s own tracking saying it was delivered.
- Paying another way. If you agree to pay in cash or any other way outside MyShopiShop, the sale has none of this protection and we take no fee. The seller marks it as sold. Paying through MyShopiShop is what protects you both.
- What can’t be sold. Nothing illegal to sell in Australia, nothing banned or under a product safety recall, nothing that needs a licence or prescription, and nothing our payment provider prohibits or restricts. This includes weapons, live animals, food and drink, medicines and supplements, fireworks, gift cards, tickets, and vehicles. Anyone can report an item. We remove items that break these rules, and the seller is told why.
- Fair use. We keep a history of problems reported by and against each person and shop. Anyone who repeatedly reports items that did arrive, or repeatedly doesn’t send what they sell, can be restricted or removed.
- What the seller sees. For a posted item, the seller sees your name and delivery address so they can post it. For a pickup, they see your first name.
- For sellers: you are paid the price and postage in full. Refunds of the item and postage come from your Stripe balance; we refund our own fee.
4. Your content
- You own what you create. Your takes, comments, asks, and shop pages are yours.
- You give us the licence needed to run a social platform: a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, transcoding or cropping video), publish, and distribute your public content on and around the platform — including showing your takes on the product pages they are about, in feeds, in shops that carry the product, and in promoting the platform and the brand whose product a take is about, including on our and that brand’s websites, emails and social media accounts. This licence ends for content you delete, except where it has already been lawfully shared by others or we must keep it for legal reasons. Recorded video takes are additionally covered by the video content terms you accept when recording.
- Post only what you have the right to post. No content that infringes someone else’s rights, no nudity or sexual content, no harassment, hate, or threats, no spam or fake engagement, and no misleading claims about products — reviews and takes must reflect your honest experience or opinion.
- We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules, and we will act on valid infringement notices. If you believe content on MyShopiShop infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to find and assess it.
5. Creator earnings
If you earn commissions through MyShopiShop, payouts run through Stripe, which may require identity verification. Commissions accrue as stated in the app, are payable once they clear, and may be reversed where the underlying order is refunded, charged back, or fraudulent. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. We may withhold payouts where we reasonably suspect fraud or manipulation, while we investigate.
6. What you must not do
- Break the law, or use the platform to help anyone else break it.
- Access other people’s accounts or data, probe or overload our systems, or scrape the platform.
- Misrepresent who you are, impersonate anyone, or manufacture fake follows, votes, or reviews.
- Sell or promote through the platform anything illegal, dangerous, or deceptive.
- Interfere with how the platform ranks, recommends, or displays content.
7. Our platform
The MyShopiShop and Convomesh names, the app, and everything we built are ours or our licensors’. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the platform while these terms are in place. If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without obligation — that is what feedback is for.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time, in the app, from your account menu — deletion is explained in the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put other users at risk, or create legal exposure for us; where reasonable we will warn you first, and closing your account does not take away rights you have already accrued (like earned commissions that clear, or consumer rights on orders already placed).
9. Liability — the honest version
We work to keep MyShopiShop reliable, safe, and accurate, and we stand behind our own service. But a marketplace and social platform involves things we do not control: merchants’ products and fulfilment, content other users post, external sites you click out to, and the occasional outage. To the extent the law allows — and never excluding the consumer guarantees described in section 3, liability that cannot be excluded, or liability for our own fraud or wilful misconduct — we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of AUD 100 and the amounts you paid us (not merchants) in the 12 months before the claim. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of re-supplying it.
10. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the platform after a change takes effect means the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the platform and delete your account.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you and Convomesh submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts — non-exclusive meaning that if consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally, these terms do not take that away. Questions about these terms, the app, or your account: support@myshopishop.com, or see Support.
